Caledonian MacBrayne is committed to helping the island communities we serve thrive. Through our island partnerships, we work with organisations and experiences across Scotland’s west coast and islands to promote, support and showcase the very best of what each destination has to offer.
Our team has spent years building and nurturing these important relationships, helping to connect island partners with customers through our wider network.
If you’d like to learn more, come and meet our current island partners – and if you think this is for you, we’ve set out the application process in five simple steps in the next section.
Firstly, take a moment to explore our YouTube channel where you can find out more about our current island partners. You can hear about the kind of businesses we work with and discover the range of visitor experiences, attractions, and organisations we collaborate with across Scotland’s west coast and islands before moving onto step 2.
Before applying, it’s important to ensure your organisation is ready to meet the required quality, operational, and compliance standards. You might’ve got a sense of this from watching the films about our current partners.
Supporting information
At this stage, we’ll work with you to gather a range of supporting information that helps us understand your offering and how best we can promote it. This may include:
your price list (where applicable),
details of the tours,
experiences or services you would most like us to showcase,
and, any key events, seasonal highlights, or campaigns you have planned that we could support and amplify.
We’ll also ask for:
high-resolution images along with any supporting collateral in PDF format,
links to existing YouTube content that could be featured, and,
some background information about your business or organisation.
If available, we’ll also request your brand guidelines, logo pack, and any approved brand assets to ensure consistency across our network.
Throughout this stage, we’ll fully support you to make sure everything is in place ahead of review and progression to the next step.
Complete our partnership application form via the website, providing key details about your experience, organisation and how you would like to work with us.
We’ll review your application against key criteria which includes alignment, quality, operational fit and customer experience. If successful, a formal Island Partnership Agreement document will be issued to define expectations, responsibilities and ways of working.
Once agreed, you’ll be onboarded as an official island partner and given access to your dedicated page on the Caledonian MacBrayne website, along with opportunities to be featured across our network channels.
